Knowing how to sign "Any exciting plans for the weekend?" can be surprisingly useful in the workplace. Imagine your Deaf or hard-of-hearing coworker walking into the office on a Friday morning, and you're able to greet them with this question in sign language. It's a great way to start off their day with some positivity and excitement, and it shows that you care about their weekend plans just as much as any other coworker's. Plus, who knows, maybe they have some fun plans up their sleeve that you could join in on!
In most cases in ASL, when you ask a question, you should finish the question with the subject. That's why "you" shows twice in the direction above.
